A little about me: I’m living in China right now and I have some seriously awesome friends and family. This picture is of my step-mother sliding some perogies out of a tray. Chinese people eat a lot of dumplings, but when I told my Chinese family and friends that you could make potato dumplings they freaked out. I had a ton of fun throwing together this recipe :)
If anyone is curious, the (unquantified) recipe was: mashed potatoes mixed with a sauce made of lots of garlic and some chives as well as thickened cream. After mixing those together I put the tasty mashed potatoes on the dumpling circles and added a tiny bit of cheese (which looked really cool when it was done).
